This project is designed to provide housing and outdoor amenities for formerly homeless, under- or unemployed residents of South King County, with about 50% veterans and 50% non-veterans. The site is located just west of Interstate 5, and has several large existing trees to the east to provide a visual buffer. A central courtyard features a gathering space, access to the bike storage room, a covered picnic table, and tenant gardening planters. A pet park is located on the north portion of the site. Several new trees across the site contribute to a sense of intimacy and safety for the residents.
